World Class
International India Medical Travel Program
There are millions of
people worldwide sitting on endless medical transplant waiting lists. There are
millions of Americans with no health insurance.
Now, people with no health insurance and those on
medical waiting lists have another alternative: "World class internationally
accredited medical travel". The international medical traveler receives first
class care in an internationally accredited hospital with a U.S. or European
trained surgeon at prices that are often 90% less.
People who
are willing to travel for their medical and surgical
needs will get almost immediate access to an endless list of quality, world
class affordable medical , surgical, and dental procedures. The list of
services include cardiac surgery, orthopedic surgery, weight loss procedures,
cancer treatments, cosmetic surgery, general surgery, medications, infertility
treatments, stress reduction programs, neurosurgery, laparoscopic procedures,
sex reassignment surgery, organ transplants, experimental treatments and so much
more.
A combination of many factors has
lead to the recent increase in popularity of international
medical travel: (1) rising costs of healthcare in industrialized
nations; (2) ease and affordability of international travel; (3)
favorable currency exchange rates in the global economy; (4)
rapidly improving technology; and (5) proven, superior
internationally accredited standards of care that are now
available in many countries. International medical travelers are
generally residents of the United States, Canada, Great Britain,
Western Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
Many international doctors have
been educated and trained at top medical schools in the United
States and Europe. Many international hospitals are accredited
by Joint Commission International (JCI). Modern, well-equipped
hospitals and good nursing are hallmarks of services provided by
international medical providers in addition to the significant
savings on the cost of comparable treatment in the United States
and Europe. Medical, cosmetic, and dental services are all
available to clients. Aside from their expertise and access to
the latest technology, international healthcare providers never
forget the most fundamental element in a complete treatment and
swift recovery--namely, a warm and caring human touch. Friendly
and truly considerate to the needs of their patients,
international medical and dental providers will make you feel
relaxed and confident in the treatment you have selected.
Unlike many health care providers in the U.S. and Europe who
treat people like a number, international providers personally
ensure that all your needs are met.
Today, forty-seven million Americans are uninsured, and millions
of people worldwide are on endless waiting lists. The cost of
treatment for medical or surgical procedures is often
prohibitive and far beyond the average person’s ability to pay
for it. Many people who need help can't afford it. International
Surgery Discounts, Inc (ISD) offers reasonable and safe
solutions. Our goal is to empower our clients so that they can
make informed decisions to improve their health and quality of
life. International medical destinations will help people save
up to 94% at facilities with doctors that adhere to equal to or
higher quality standards than those in the United States and
Europe.
The
procedure cost quoted below are for rough planning purposes
only. A detailed actual procedure cost quotation will be sent to
you after we have completed a medical evaluation and assessment
of your case by the international surgeon after receipt of your
medical history.

International Quality
India Medical Care
Until the last few years,
people looked at hospitals outside the U.S. as inferior imitations. However, in
the past 30 years, the costs of health care have soared in the industrialized
nations, especially in the U.S. Due to rapidly escalating health
care costs, Americans, Europeans, Canadians and Australians in ever increasing
numbers began to search for alternatives that could reduce their personal out of
pocket medical expenses. In the last few years, millions of people worldwide
have chosen to travel to and use internationally accredited medical centers.

Recent Patient To India
My name is B.
Harris. I'm from Lexington, Mississippi-USA. I have definitely been blessed
in India. The doctors there are great. I went to
India to have Laparoscopic Surgery, and the doctors and staff there are some
of the most caring people I've ever been around. Each doctor I've seen in
India were very supportive and kind to me. Some of the tests I had to have
done before surgery were very scary, but focusing on all the comfort and
compassion shown by the doctors the tests were a lot easier.
Since arriving
in India, Dr. Parpyani, the owner of the India Medical Tourism company, has
been more than helpful. Actually, I think he went way overboard to help me. I encountered a problem because I mistakenly brought a
cashiers check instead of bringing travelers
checks. He was always trying to lift my spirit and keep me from feeling discouraged.
He stuck with me until everything was final. He's a very sweet and funny
man.
I have a fear
of hospitals, but in India it didn't seem like a hospital. They treat you
like family. They are always there before you need them. Most of the people
are very funny, if you can understand what there saying. They were very
helpful to me before and after surgery. The hotel was
nice, elegant and quiet. They brought free breakfast every morning. They
have round-the-clock room service. They prepared special meals after I had
surgery and brought the meals to my room each hour. I would recommend India
Hospitals to anyone; Not just because of how great all the doctors are, but
also because all the procedures are so affordable. You will be in great
hands!!!!

Having visited Mumbai for
rhinoplasty and jaw sliding procedures, I can confidently
claim that I have received better health care than I would have
received in England. The nursing staff at the hospital was the best
I
have ever experienced, the care they showed to me was incredible.
The
surgeon understood my problems and carefully explained what he would do
during my procedures, leaving me feeling confident and without stress
before the procedure. Again the staff during the operation was the
kindest ever making me feel I was in the best possible hands regarding
this procedure, I went under the anesthetic with no worries.
The
aftercare and my stay in hospital was wonderful, I was visited regularly
by the doctors and nursing staff. The hospital food and the hygiene
standards in the hospital were better than in UK. I would recommend
India for any one considering the surgery. The health care standards in
India are high and the cost is greatly reduced.
Following my full recovery I can say that I
am very happy with the results. The surgeon in India is an artist, as
well as an excellent surgeon. I thoroughly recommend him for rhinoplasty
and jaw surgery. I am overjoyed with the final result.

I highly recommend International
Surgery Discounts (ISD) and the U.S.coordinator Frank Mitts and their affiliate
group located in India. I went to India for a bariatric weight loss surgical
procedure in January 2008. At first I was very skeptical about the idea of
traveling half way around the world for a major surgery. After an initial
screening and referral from ISD in Southern California, Dr. Parpyani called me
at home from India. I couldn't get a doctor in the US to pay that much
attention to me! Dr. Parpyani assured me that he would be happy to answer any
questions. And, I had a ton of them. He answered each and every one of them.
No question was left unanswered. He was there to support and resolve any
situation that came up.
I felt extremely well taken care of
and pampered. In fact, I felt like everyone went overboard to make sure my
journey and operation went smoothly and stress free. While I was there, my
husband got a lot of needed dental work done at a fraction of what it would have
cost in the U.S. I also had some dental work and laser surgery done on some sun
spots. Dr. Parpyani and staff completely orchestrated everything. We had a
driver to drive us to all of these appointments. I highly recommend ISD/Life
Smile to anyone thinking about traveling abroad to get medical procedures. If
you want expert, compassionate, detailed and well managed attention for your
overseas medical treatment, look no further.

Medical Tourism India (a.k.a. Health Tourism
India) is a developing concept whereby people from world over visit India
for their medical and relaxation needs. Most common treatments are heart
surgery, knee transplant, cosmetic surgery and dental care. The reason India is
a favorable destination is because of it's infrastructure and technology in
which is in par with those in USA, UK and Europe. India has some of the best
hospitals and treatment centers in the world with the best facilities. Since it
is also one of the most favorable tourist destinations in the world, Medication
combines with tourism has come into effect, from which the concept of Medical
Tourism is derived.
India is promoting the "high-tech healing" of its
private healthcare sector as a tourist attraction. The government hopes to
encourage a budding trade in medical tourism, selling foreigners the idea of
travelling to India for low-cost but world-class medical treatment. Naresh
Trehan, executive director of Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, a
leading private healthcare provider, says India has established world-class
expertise in practices such as cardiac care, cosmetic surgery, joint
replacements and dentistry.
Merging medical expertise and tourism became government policy when finance
minister Jaswant Singh, in this year's budget, called for India to become a
"global health destination". For example, in April Madras Medical Mission, a
Chennai-based hospital, successfully conducted a complex heart operation on an
87-year-old American patient at a reported cost of $8,000 (€7,000, £4,850)
including the cost of his airfare and a month's stay in hospital. The patient
claimed that a less complex operation in America had earlier cost him $40,000.
As health care costs skyrocket, patients in the
developed world are looking overseas for medical treatment. India is
capitalizing on its low costs and highly trained doctors to appeal to these
"medical tourists." Even with airfare, the cost of going to India for surgery
can be markedly cheaper, and the quality of services is often better than that
found in the United States and UK. Indeed, many patients are pleased at the
prospect of combining their tummy tucks with a trip to the Taj Mahal. -
YaleGlobal
Many countries have developed
links for speedy treatments in India for their nationals on account of the fact
that in these countries one has to wait for extended periods of time to undergo
operations. In India, medical treatment is not only fast but also costs a
fraction of what it costs in USA or Europe. Even tele-consultancy is available
for expert opinion and transmission facilities. Some of the states have already
established themselves as destinations for health care and medical tourism. The
growing need is for high level specialized treatments like transplantation of
vital organs, cancer treatment, neuro-surgery, cardiac surgery and many more.
